The screens are then boxed in such a way as to insure they are not damaged in shipping.

Samsung Tops Others with 82" LCD TV

Um, yeah. Did I say Sharp's 65-inch LCD was the biggest ever here at CES? Scratch that. Looks like Samsung has topped that nonsense with an 82-inch 1080p LCD TV, though this one has no price. So there. The LN-S8281D has a built-in ATSC tuner, CableCard slot, 2 HDMI connections and DACS speakers. And for god's sake, is it big.

Dell websites drop LCD TV line-up

Exclusive Dell insisted today its LCD TV line-up will return after the company was forced to pull the products from its EMEA websites late last month. Describing the company as a "victim of its own success", a Dell spokeswoman today admitted the company could not meet current demand for its 32in and 37in tellies.
Reg Hardware readers spotted the sudden absence of the LCDs from Dell's UK website earlier this week. The company told us today the move had been made to slash the number of new orders so it can focus on satisfying requests already made for the products. However, Dell will continue to take new orders by phone.
